My Development

Not sure it is because now I am looking after him full time now so i tends to notice his improvement more as compare to before. He seems to be picking up things faster these days only that at times or I should say most of the time he is simply plain lazy to do it even though he knows how to do it. He can now picks up most of the correct picture from the aphabet chart and block when we ask him to do so, only he can't read the words accurately yet. But I can understand what he is saying when he tries to say something.

His speech development has improve as well even though i personaly think is still quick weak. Actually I am also not so sure what can a 2 yrs old toddler say, but looking at other peoples's blog, their kids seems to be able to talk more. But most of them are girls, so I am not sure is it because they are girls thus they learn faster since there is always this believes that girls tend to pick up things faster then boys.

Because we are trap at home most of the times, i try to on those educational cds to keep him entertain, and i do notice that e pick up words from it and tries to use it on his daily conversation with us. But and again, not many people can understand his language only me.There is this Barney shows which sing a song on 1 2, buckle my shoe, so he is picking it up and i also try to teach him to count on things o his daily lifes eg like count our fingers and toes together and count on the steps in our house. So now whenever he walks up the stairs he will count 1,2 and repeat 1,2 again then skip the rest, follow by 8.9.10. Haha its so much fun seeing him growing up day by day.

He can now recognise most of the colors although at times he does mix up some of them. Ever since I came here, i try to encourage him to like reading, so I bought a few books and read to him before he sleeps everynight. He seems to enjoy it, and now at times when I am lazy and try to skip the reading session. he will bring his book to me and ask me to read.

In terms of size, I think he grows taller now about 96cm but weight its about te same as before weighing about 13kg. Although he doesn't really look underweight but i do prefer him to be abit more chubby. He is a fussy eater, so i am also kind of worry if he goes to childcare is he going to eat anything or no eating at all. He is a meat eater, doesn't like vege at all, same as his dad. His favourite is pork, but also depends on how you cook it. And he prefer soupy stuff . If he likes that food he seem to be able to eat it everyday.

I am officially 2 !!!!!

Just celebrated my 2nd birthday with mummy, daddy and 1 of mummy's fren yesterday. It's simple dinner in 1 of the restaurant in the city call "Ye Shanghai', and it's a treat from Uncle Chris...Thanks alot Uncle Chris.....Oops but he wants me to call him Chris gor gor.

Between the food is quite nice only the waiting time is abit long. I have a simple fruit cake from Maxim Cake shop and i really like it especially the Kiwi fruit on it. Before Dad could even cut the cake, i already help myself with it with my fingers. Haha....

My First Airplane Journey to Melbourne 10/05/07

Yes, I finally get to travel on an airplane on my way to join daddy in Melbourne with only mummy travelling alone with me. Yeah guess how did i spend that 7 hours in the flight, or probably you should ask guess how mummy survive with me that 7 hours on board....

Haha so far, according to mummy and those air steward/stewardess i behave myself very well. except 1 incident where i cry real loud in the middle of the night coz i fell down to the floor while sleeping and Mummy is not around because she left for the toilet while I am asleep after enduring for so many hours.

Reunion Dinner-March 25th 2007

Today is neither eve of chinese new year nor CNY, but there is a reunion celebration happening in a small estate called Bukit Batok. The reunion of my daddy and his mummy which they have lost contact for many many years. Emm........Dad's mummy...... which will means my Grandma. Hip Hip Hurray!!!Rejoice for this happy occasion. From today onwards i will have 1 more person to dote on me. No.. is not just 1 but 3....great grandma, uncle john (daddy's brother) and aunty Jacelyn (uncle's John wife).

There is a simple dinner celebration at 1 of the restaurant at Bukit Batok, with tea ceromony from mummy and daddy as a form of respect to great grandma and grandma. Uncle John and Aunty Jacelyn has a daughter around 5years old, which mean I have another cousin sisters to play with besides Yuxin.

To Daddy there is a mix feeling of happy and unhappy. Happy is because he finally gets to meet his mum before flying to Australia which we may be permanently staying there. This is 1 of the wish he wishes to fullfill in his life. But sad part is because time is so short, daddy is leaving to Melbourne to work very soon, which means his time with grandma will be very short.

Have not been posting lately as mum and dad are busy with their work for the past few months. And also preparation for Daddy to work overseas. Alot of interesting things happen for the year of Pig for "Ng Family".

Feb- CNY
Went back to KL to visit all my cousin brothers and sisters, uncles and aunties. As usual, I will be the limelight since I am the youngest and naugtiest.

March-Reunited of Daddy's mummy. Dad gets to reunites with his long lost mummy.

2007 Resolutions

Time passes very fast.The last celebration I had with mummy and daddy was a quiet but wonderful "The Ng's Family New Year Eve" celebration. It was only 3 of us at home, with our fav fruit. Guess what???Durian feast!!!

I have inherited Mummy and Daddy's genes. I luv durians. We didn't buy the most expensive "MAo Shan" because it cost about $60 each thus Daddy opt for just D24, but of good breeds. So with with $70 we manage to get 5durians!!! Good buy Daddy!!

Ok let's get to business, everybody have their own resolution for this new year, so i wouldn't want to miss out too.

Milestone:
1)Can call daddy,mummy and wai po quite fluently.
2)Can understand most of the things we say or ask him to do (eat,cook,bath,pour,take etc....)
3)Know how to throw tantrum by throwing things on the floor if being scolded.
4)Can self feed a little, but prefer to use hand. (fussy eater)
5)Likes to play with cars most.(even he has other toys)
6)Luvs to eat fries and biscuit.
7)Able to recognise most of the pic on the alphabets blocks that god ma buy (but this depends alot on his mood whether he wants to show you or not)
8)Like to watch Hi-5, dance along.
9)Able to sleep on the bed without "sarong"
10)SUper active and playful. (likes to run up and down non-stop)

Resolutions

Mummy say i must master the below by my 2nd birthday:
1)Potty train - Currently I simply refuse, no matter how urgent my business was.
2)Sing songs - I have been singing my own songs lately, singing along with Mummy or WaiPo ( which of course nobody can hear a single word I sing) but Mummy reckon that I should be able to sing and follow the words more accurately when I reach 2 years old.
3Reading of Books- Mummy has promise to buy me some good story books so that she can read to me soon. Last month i was doing :Good Night Kiss Sam" and this month I am still doing it so kind of bored with the book already.
4)Drawing/Coloring- Mummy has also promise to buy me some color pencils so that i can draw and color.

Santa is here. Ho!! Ho!! Ho!!

Is Christmas festives... and my house is throwing a party. With all the good food, from Roasted stuffed turkey,succelent honey baked ham, spaggeti ala tomato to assorted mini french pastries, candies for the kids and most important a good grade red wine to go with. You will really regret if you ever miss it.

Guest list includes mummy's close collegues, godma, mummy's long lost fren aunty anne and family(hee hee not long lost lah, just long time never meet up) as well as my playgroup friend Alden and his family. Is just a small gathering daddy thought of doing before we embark on our new plans next year.




Anyway whatever the reason is, I must say the person who gain the most needless to say is ME!!!!. I received alot of presents from all uncles and aunties, despite the fact that my presents to them are actually from mummy's pocket money.(ha..haa..)I get to eat all the good food, since everybody is in a happy mode so daddy tends to be more lenient with what i can eat, I even get to drink cold drinks from godma.








We order some of the food from Carrefour and some of them was prepare by my grandpa. We only have about 16 guests, kiasu mummy and daddy prepare the food for about 60people. End up we still have lots of food left even some of the guest stay back to support us in finishing the food by having their dinner at our place. From Christmas lunch to christmas dinner, can you imagine that!!!. But it was really fun.



The adults get to catch up among themselves, some sharing cooking ideas, while some playing games. We kids also never lose out, we have our toys to play with. Me being a "gor gor" that day really behave myself very well. I did not cry, did not fuss alot and even willing to share my toys with 2 of my littles friends.

New Job at Ikea

I have got myself a job at Ikea. See how busy am I with the new opening of Tampines Ikea. So busy messing around. Haha. Excuse me is not really easy to mess up the place ok. I really walk alot the whole day to ensure that I have not miss out any of the corner.
