Surprises..and more surprises...
I surprise mummy lately with lots of my new development. I can clap my hands,tap my legs, do a thumbs up, dance according to my favourite music many others. Now I am even learning to do the hand gesture of "twinkle twinkle little star" which i have seen my teacher doing it in school. Then mummy teaches me at home. Soon i will master it one day
For verbal development, I am still trying very hard. Occasionally i will say car, ball, apple without the" a"sound so its like pple when i see them . Or mum mum (which means food). However I can understand most of the thing adult say like dog, birds, cat, clock flag, toot toot train and many others. Whenever they say something, i can point to the correct things that they say. For eg : when mummy ask me "what is the time now? " i will point towards the clock. When they ask me to on the aircon, i will bring them the remote control. See I am so clever rite??

Duck Tour
Quack quack!!!Ya we went for the Duck Tour ride on 05/08/06. It is a kind of transport where it can goes on sea and land. One and only mode of transport in SIngapore that can goes on both sea and land. Cool rite??
The whole journey takes about 1hr, which starts from Suntec City, then to Esplannade where we can see the Merlion, One Fullerton Hotel and Shenton Way high rise building (this is the sea part). As for the land part, we actually went to The Supreme Court, The Padang and back to Suntec. The tour cost about $33p/adult as for baby is $2.00
Daddy used his credit card points to redeem for this tour. SO we get to go for FREE!!!!(we save $99.00)

My MMS jab--Ouch it really hurt!!!
I just have my jab taken on Tuesday. Grandma brought me to Doc Ho, which i am still unaware of what is going on even when they take off my pants. I look at them innocently holding the shringe totally unaware of what is next. Until i feel a sharp paint from my butt. They actually poke the needle on my butt which I cried out very loud because it really hurts.
The doctor told grandma that i may be down with fever after the jab so he prescribe some fever medicine for me. Then after paying we left the clinic. I told myself to remember the doctor who poke me hard on my butt, so that if i ever see him again next time, I shall run far far away from him. Run for my life!!!!!
True enough for dont know what reason we went back to the clinic again on the very same day in the evening. And i saw that naughter doctor again. Immediately I cried out loud telling mummy to bring me far far away from him which mummy did. But the adults are all laughing at me, because they think I am really smart as I still can recall this is the doctor who gave me the jab this morning.

Sean's thought
I went to visit my Godmum last Saturday (22/07/06). She got her wisdom tooth extracted. 4 in total. It must be very painful. So i thought I should visit her to cheer her up abit. Mummy brought me down to Orchard to meet Daddy so that we can go straight after Daddy knock off from his work.
We got a bouquet of flowers (from me) and a pint of Haagen Daz ice cream chocolate flavor (from Mummy) for her. I think she is the first lady that i have presented flower in my life. We reached her house at about 9plus already. At first i was kind of reluctant to be left down on the floor alone or to let Godmum carry me. My stanger anxiety is haunting me.
"Hey, I am still a kid and still trying to over come my stranger anxiety which most babies are still facing. I need to warm up a little first, please bear with me I will soon be able to overcome it. At least i am a very brave boy coz i didnt cry ".
After a while, I starts playing with Robbin, first with Robbin' "ang pow". Wah!! he really gots lots of ang pow man!!I think i also lose to him. Later I tried touching him and his food!!! Ha ha i think my greediness nature is emerging. Mummy say i so "tam jiak" even Robin's food also i want to eat. You know what Robbin is Godmum's favourite pet. It's a rabbit, white furry rabbit. Very cute one. I tried to get some photo to show you next time.
Later on, I think I really cant resist the calling of food. I finally give in to let Godmum carry me in exchange for a packet of biscuit and 1 bottle of Yakult. But i think I make a good accountant, I let her carry 1 (me) but in return i get 2 items, (biscuit & Yakult). Haha i still win.
Eventhough, I am not very close to Godmum yet, taken into consideration that every little babies actually have this stranger anxiety problem. But I believe there will definetely be a certain bonding between us. Before i was born, i always heard mummy talking to her. After i was born she always come and visit me. I kow she luv me alot. "Godmum, please be patient with me, I will grow up to be a big boy and luv you too!!!"

Sean is turning 14 months old soon!!!
Time has really fly past fast, Sean is almost 14months old now!!!. Looking back, being a parent is never an easy task. We are constantly being deprieved from our sleep, watching our fav movies, doing our usual shopping etc etc... But just a hug and kiss from him , it will just melt your heart completely. You will feel that whatever you have given up has been return back to you in double.
Recently we notice that Sean has started to test his boundaries and becoming more assertive. He will shake his head,turn away from you or cry out loud if he does not want something. If we do not give him something he wants, he will throw tantrum which I i will say at times is not easy to coax him into wanting other things instead. He is quite firm at the things he wants at time, which i somehow i feel that it is good, as he really know what he likes and wants and what he doesnt rather then just accepting everything that we give him.
At his age, everything arouses his curisousity.......it's the development stage where he instinctly need to know about the cause-effect and explore relentlessly. I am getting concerned as we want to adopt a positive parenting style and yet worried about teaching him the wrong values. Perhaps I should start to find time to read more in this areas.
He has been drooling alot lately, then only i notice that his little teeth sprouting out on the left side. I am not sure what is it call, but i promise to go and find out. I think this is also the reason why he has not been eating his proper meal well lately. I must say that we are quite lucky, ***not sure if i say it too early*** but he doesnt really bite people. As I heard from a couple of my frens who have kids around the same age as Sean, they actually got bitten by the kids which at times cause bruises or even leaving a scar there.
Sean has been heaping on us surprises week after week with his walking skill. The last I remember mentioning that he can actually walk very fast, follow by just walking confidently with his shoe on. But now he can really runs with his shoe on. 2days ago me and my mum went to OG to got him a pair of sandals, we let him wear it immediately after paying for it. He got so excited that he started running around in his new sandals. There is this aunty(salesgal) find him really cute and start chasing after him. So they both actually play catching inside the mall. After a while he stop and dance (shake his bon bon) when he heard his favourite music from the HI-5 programme being played. When we wanted to put him back to the pram he actually refused, so i think he really enjoy walking alot. I am actually considering buying "a leash" not sure what it is called in a nicer term, but simple english "leash" to leash him up so that when i bring him out I can let him walk by himself at the same time I dont have to keep chasing after him since he is being leash up. Haha!!!
We are trying to teach him simple words, so we actually got him a Alphabetical Chart, with simple pictures to relates to the alphabet. Jerry has also got him some new flash cards. We have not started on it yet, probably we try this weekend. Let him start with the things that he is familiar with first, like balloons, apples, telephone, which he already know what is it, only cant read it out yet. Hopefully few weeks down the road he can read to me on the things that I have teach him. And hopefully he can call Mummy and Daddy very soon . ( He cant call us now, but he knows clearly who is Mummy and Daddy and Waipo)

My New Car Seat
This is me on my way to school. As you can see I am sitting on a "New Car Seat". My godmom bought for me one. She got me this, so that I can sit comfortably in the car when we travel. I can get to lean on the cushioned back rest, rest my hand on the arm rest and safety number 1, coz it comes with a safety belt somemore. SO cool rite??? I have got a chauffeur to drives me around too. Thank you Godmom!!!
Eh!!How come we still at the carpark. Arent we supposed to go school already. "Ahmad, please drives me to my school now"
Ok Bye Bye, I am leaving now, if not i will be late for school already. See you later.
