Sharlene is teething

At 10mths old,Sharlene's crawling skill improves tremendously, she can now crawl on her legs, she even attempted to stand supported. And she seems to enjoy it alot.After each attempt she will smile widely which makes me very proud of her.

We saw a couple of tooth sprouting out.It's the front 4 and 2 more from the bottom.She now becomes very fussy with her food, anything that is not to her pallate she will spit it out and rather go on hunger or on just milk diet. Which is why we started giving her adult food which still cook separately but tastier hoping that she will eat.I reckon she lost some weight, because her face is less chubby.

Her face with abit of rashes on off, not sure why it is not going away completely. I am suspecting when we are not around she manage to get hold of her teether made of latex which she is allergy to.

They are gone

My mum and sis are gone.We or maybe it's just me waking up this morning hit by the reality that my mum had gone back to Singapore last nite after staying a year with us. The house suddenly become sort of like different, quiet, I didnt say that she is noisy, but it is rather quiet now.

And my sis will be embarking into her new journey of life in a new place.For me it's sort of like a double impact. Both left...house quiet and empty.I just need abit of time to get use to it.

Then and again i have my father in law here staying with us for 3months, helping out, so I wonder what is ahead for us for the next few months.

It's Sooo Cold......

Look!! What's on top of our car..??Yes is ice, these few nights have been so cold that our poor car which we did not park in the garage were covered with ice when we woke up the next morning. Even the plants too...will there be snow coming???

I start to wonder if my plants will even survive this winter with the wind so strong blowing and ice covering it on most nights...???

Measles??CHicken Pox??

Look at mei mei's face, she has rashes on both side of her cheeks. To make things worst she actually got dun know chicken pox or measles all over her face and body. Ths doctor diagnost it as chicken pox but to me it looks more like measles. The patches of red dot on her doesnt have any liquid stuff like how chicken pox has. And it's not itchy nor she is not even down with fever.

Just some random pictures of Sean's actual birthday which is on 30/05/09.In the morning is just me and Sean, we had Mcdonald for breakfast, his favourite food then we went for shopping for a while to get his Spiderman movie which he wanted. My mum cooked him red egg with mee suah for lunch.Then night time we had the Choo family over to grace the occasion. Nothing big though since we already had his birthday party earlier so is just a simple cake with birthday song and wishes. The kids luv it though.

Mei mei eats.....

Yes mei mei eats basically everything.Everything she gets hold off, first thing first she will put it into her mouth and taste it. From toys to cups to toothbrush, tv remote,plastic bags,floor mat.... you name it she eats it....

Yes i know we had disappear for quite a while, we have been really really busy with alot of stuffs, anyway here are the updates

Sharlene is coming to 7mths next week,what can she do now? She can flip, finally... but sometimes you can still see that she is having difficulty to turn around as her body weight is pulling her backward but she is a very determine gal, so she will persist to turn around so that she can move about in the house.Since this is her new found skill, she seems to enjoy it alot rolling around all over our house,sometimes we cant really find her, she will roll under the table, behind the door etc...

She now know her rights and what she likes and what she doesn't.When Sean try to bully her she will scream. When she is not happy she will kick her leg hard showing us her temper and start yelling!!.Sharlene started her solid exactly on 6th month, my mum basically cook very soft porridge for her mix with all sort of vege (pumpkin, brocolli,carrot etc..)As usual she is never enough with food ,an hour after her porridge she will demand for milk.

She is a attention seeker, always want us to play with her, she will be very happy when we start talking or playing with her. However she is also going through this stranger anxiety phrase, where she will starts to cry when she sees some new faces.

Sean's 4th birthday

Yes we had Sean's birthday celebration early this year. Few reasons, Sean was going for his adrenoids surgery fews days after this party and also he will be leaving his current childcare as we are moving into our new house soon.

So it's sort of like early birthday cum farewell party for him.We did briefly told him about the surgery but he wasn't very sure what was going on.He was more excited about his birthday party.

I was very panic as everything sort of like very last minute, we only booked the playcenter a week before and the cake was during the week. There was even a small drama with his surgery date, where we had everything confirm on 14/4/09 and out of sudden we received a letter from Royal Children Hospital informing us that they had changed the initial date and bring forward to 17/4/09 which is 1 day before his birthday party.

Can you imagine that, everything's booked and invitation had been sent out. To think that we brought forward the party only because of his surgery and now they changed the date......Luckily Jerry managed to convince them to give us back the initial date. Phew!!Otherwise all our plans will go haywire. Sean will be very dissappointed as I can really tell that he is very looking forward to it.

Anyway since he is very into Spiderman, so we sort of like have a spiderman party for him. Spiderman cake, spiderman decoration but we did not tell his friends that it's going to be a Spidey theme. Guess what apparently all his friends seems to know that he is very into Spidey, they got him presents that are mostly related to spiderman.

We all had a good day,and he really enjoy himself alot,which I am really glad.
