After 3 consecutive nights of going diaperless, Sean failed his test. First night he is still doing alright, request to go to the toilet himself 3 times, 2nd nite, went to toilet once and wet the bed once, 3rd night wet the bed once back to nappy after that.
He didnt like the idea of wearing nappy, and he knows that he had done something wrong when he wet his bed, because he started to cry very remorsefully. The chances of him wetting his bed is high, partly because he needs to drink a bottle of milk before he sleeps, when i try to make lessor he will request for more. I also quite reluctant to cut his milk intake taking into consideration that drinking milk is good for him and also to supplement his petite food intake.
We concluded maybe he is still no ready for it, not going to force him wait for 1-2 months and see how it goes maybe we will try again.

Should i try it tonight??
Its was 4am today, when Sean started to crawl onto my bed and sleep next to me. He requested to take off his nappy, we didnt agree initially because we worried that he may wet our bed. After " a short crying and drama" we obliged because we just wanted to get back to sleep. But we remind him that he can't wee on our bed and if he needs to do so, he have to get up and go to the toilet.
At 6.30am, he wokes up again telling me he needs to go to the toilet.Jerry and I was just too happy,(**bream with proud***) he really can wakes up and tell us his needs instead of just wetting the bed. I have tried that during his noon nap and i know so far he is doing fine, only at night i still don't have the courage to do yet due to the long hours of sleep plus he usually will drink 1 big bottle of milk before he sleep. And of course because we are lazy so if accident does happens it will means that we need to change the sheets and our beautiful sleep will be disturb. Haha
But Sean did well this morning and i am proud of him. My initially plan was to start him only when my mum is here so that she can help. But am now playing with the idea that we can starts going nappiless for him now. We left with 1 bag of nappy if he succeeds it will means that's the last bag of nappy that we are going to use and we don't have to buy more***accounting brand is working again -can save more money**
Ok finalise the plan will be we will start him on a 3DAY trial of nappi-less, cut down his milk intake at night.Get a water proof bed protecter for him incase he really does wet the bed. Result shall be announce in a weeks time. Wish me luck.

It's a Gal!!!!
I just went for a scanning this morning and guess what the sonographer told me, it is a lil gal that i am having.Do you believe it? Seriously, i am still a little unconvince, maybe i am just crazy. I am just not having the symptom of having a baby gal like eg : big rounded tummy, beautiful complexion etc.... Maybe i am just too obssesive with those old wife's tale or whatever you call it.
But after 2 scannings done by 3 different sonographers so far at 2 different places, and they all came to the same verdict, all i can say is the probability of having a baby gal is higher. If it comes out to be a boy, don't blame me, its not my fault. Haha
Anyway of course i am happy since i already have a boy naturally i will hope for a gal. But even it happens to come out to be a boy i will still be happy too. Most important thing is they must all be healthy and good. I guess that's what all parents are hoping for.
Baby gal?? It will means by pocket is going to burn a big hole, taking into consideration that there are so many pinky sweetie stuff around for baby gals.Hmm.. Maybe i can start thinking what i should get for the gal.
Now i am at 27 weeks of pregnancy already gain 11kg, sigh...mostly on me not on the baby i guess. So far everything is going on well, this lil gal is more active than Sean when he is in my tummy. She is always doing all the kicking and chopping like having some kind of disco party in my belly. It just feel good at least you know she is doing fine in there.
Sean will naturally be happier i suppose, because he always says he wanted a "mei mei", no matter how many times we corrected him that it may be a "di di". I think he can only associate with "mei mei" as yet because Caleb has got a younger sister which Sean also likes to play with.
The next thing i have to really consider is the the birth of the baby, whether to go for natural birth or ceasarian. Everybody says natural birth is better because it will heal better and lessor harm to your body. For my case i am just very worry about the labor pain, never try before wonder how it will be, heard alot of scary stories. It's going to be brand new experience for me. My risk of going for natural birth is i may still ended up with emerygency ceasar if my previous cut tear, so it will means i will go through labor pain for nothing, still need to cut. Haha. Few more weeks do decide before my next visit to the doctor.

What we did for the past 6months-Part 3 Birthday celebration
Sean's 3rd birthday celebration
This year we didnt do much for Sean, because I am just too tired overcoming my morning sickness. And we are also busy looking for a place to move, as the current owner decided to sell the property that we are living in. So most of our time are spend on cleaning the house for inspection, travelling around looking for places to rent. Ended up we really don;t have time to plan for this birthday celebration. We only do a small cake cutting session at home, plus a birthday pressie for Sean. We also brought Sean to Luna Park for kiddy rides as compensation.Hee Hee.
Apparently his best buddy Caleb, actually throw up a small surprise party for him. We thought of just letting him do what he enjoys the most, which is playing at the playcenter. So we met up with the Choo's at a playcenter near their place. The kids needless to say enjoy themselves alot. There after we went to Choo's house thinking to order pizza for dinner then we can all eat together. This is where the surprise came, a suprise birthday cake and lots of pressie from Caleb, Caitin, Aunty Anne and Uncle Felix. Thanks for organizing that.
Oh ya last but not least, Sean also got a birthday pressie from his Godma. The long shirt is really big and long now, but the Polo T will be just nice for this summer. Thanks Goodma!! Smooch.... smooch....

What we did for the past 6months-Part 2
We went back to Singapore for a short holiday during Chinese New Year, and also a short trip to KL.Didn't get to do much, just catching up with relatives and friends. With mummy and daddy busy eating up all the good food available, but they say they didnt manage to eat all from the list of food that they wanted to eat. Haha, As for me, food is secondary, playing is more important.
After we came back from the trip. I went for the MOMBA festival with Caleb and his family. We watch fireworks together, play on the kiddy rides and snacking for the whole night.
We also went to Mornington Peninsular during the easter break. You must be wondering where is the places that i took photos from? It doesnt look like Mornington Peninsular at all. Yes mummy wasn;t in her best mood to help me take photos as she wasn;t feeling well, so these are what i had taken at a dun know call what "maze". Actually we went to few places like the Dromana Beach, got a dip in it, then to the Arthur's chair lift and also the scenic area plus this supposing award winning maze. You cant tell hor.

What we did this year-Part 1
Sean attended 2 birthday parties, 1 in the beginning of the year which was Louisa's birthday at a playcenter which is also a farewell party for her because she will be leaving ABC childcare center. Louisa is 1 of Sean's playmates in the childcare, you can often see the both of them playing or chatting together.
Another one which was just recently, Jordan's birthday party at a Excelsior Hotel with a kids playing area too.Jordan is Sean's current playmate in teh school, this is what i heard from the previous childcare. They play alot together, and i often heard Sean mentioning Jordan's name at home.
Among the kids that attended the party are James and Beyonce (those that i know of) from the same childcare. Needless to say, the kids enjoy the play area more than the food. They even engage an entertainer, a man dress up like Batman.

Myself and the baby
Yes, this is the first time that i will be mentioning in this blog that I am 26weeks pregnant. The baby and I are doing well so far. Had a very terrible first trimester though, very different from Sean which is smooth sailing all the way. But now it has settle which is good. I have put on 11kg which is not so good for me, i only aim to put on the most 15kg for my whole pregnancy so i still have about 12 more weeks to go. Must try to control a little, even though i always say that but i still eat alot.
ALot of people keep asking me if it is a gal or a boy because by right i should have known the sex already by now. But unfortunately i am still unsure, I will try to schedule for a scanning somewhere in august to find out. The new baby will aslo share the same blog as Sean as I am just too lazy to get everything started all over again.
If you want to know more about US, please stay tune. I know it had been a lot of long posting, will try to post some photos of Sean by this week hopefully, need to go and find the cable to download my pictures.See ya

Sean's developement at 37months
First I will update on Sean's developement at fo 37mths and 1 week old.
He just recovered, not 100 % but probably 99% from his fever over the weekend, slight improvement with his flu and cough which he just got it last Friday. Last week was abit cold probably that explains why he falls sick, if not so far he has been doing well, eating well at home because i force feed. Haha. But when he is out playing with Caleb or his friends, you can forget about asking him to eat. All he wants to do is just play and play and he will not feels hungry at all.
Physical developement : Height grown up taller, maybe 100cm or slightly below. Because i can see his old pants are now slightly above ankle already, unless it shrunk. Weight still remain as slim as ever eventhough sometimes i think he eats quite alot. But his digestive system is somehow too good, whenever he eats too much, he will need to go and poo it all out again. Plus he is a very active boy running up and down alot, so maybe this explains why he is forever slim.
Activities: Enjoy reading story books, so we are planning to buy more or borrow some from the library for him. He always want us to read to him at least 2 books before he sleep. Its a daily routine for him that he will not miss, no matter how tired we are, we still need to oblige to it.(both parents are lazy)It's a good hobby which i think we should cultivate him to do, some simple books he can relay back the story to us, even word by word as how they have it in the book. I think he memerized it. Can see and remember most number till 6, previously he can count but not so much on remembering how the number looks like, but he can now do so. At times he can even write it, but not very nice of course, but somehow you can still know what number he is writting. We have been engaging activities like writting numbers which he quites enjoy it at the moment. Me being a very kiasu mum, i still prefer my kids to have Singapore standard if possible so i prefer him to learn more than playing. He still enjoy singing at times, where you can hear him sing by himself in the car or sometimes before sleeps, but he just want to act silly by changing some of the wording in the songs and make is sound silly. He thinks is funny. I didnt stop him anyway, he is still a kid after all, so sometimes we just behave silly like him which he will find it very funny. ABC is still weak, i think he must have even forgotten the first few aphabets that we have taught him before, as we have stop that for quite a while ever since we move house till now. He is weaker at drawing i notice, he prefers us to draw for him rather then he draws himself. He will request you to bring his drawing kits out but he wants you to draw from him instead. Watching TV is his forever favourite activities.
Speech development: think should be quite alright bah, at least poeple can understand what he is trying to say. But of course is uncomparable to those english native speaker's kids as i must admit both myself and Jerry's english is only so so. We have been trying to introduce new words as and when we talk to him and he does pick up from there.Only problem with him is certain words his pronounciation are not as accurate and clear, but i am guessing he will outgrown as he grows older.
Self help skills : He can feed (food/water)himself but of course do expect some food droping on the table or floor after that. Actually i am also unsure how a 3 years old kid will fare. Taking of pants is not a problem for him, but taking of clothes is. Plan to start and let him to do it himself. Now is in the mid of encouraging him to wear his own shoe. He can wear the crocs by himself, but not sneakers/sports shoe yet. When you ask him to teach you how to wear his shoe, he will show you, but will need our help a little, but if you ask him to go wear his shoe himself he will tell you he can't. Fully toilet trained in the day, even during afternoon nap, i saw him waking up few times in the afternoon to urine himself and went back to sleep after that. As for night training, i still do not have the courage yet, because too lazy to change the bedsheet after that.Maybe when my mum is year, later part of this year.
Social skills : As usual needed time to warm up when he sees new people/faces.Still consider as a shy boy, not sure is it because we use to says things like bad man will catch him away if he doesn't listen of behave, but we have stop that now.You can say that he is a reserved person, he tends to play or socialise only with the people that he feels comfortable with. He has no problem socializing with kids though, no fighting, snatching nor pushing, only problem is less willing to share when it comes to his favourite toys. Food he wills still share if he sees that he still got alot of it.If it happen to be the last one, don't bother asking, he will not share.
Personally, i think he is still consider a quite managable boy, quite obedient and willing to listen and follow. He can understand when you explain well to him. He is a very touchy boy, he likes to be love and enjoys curdle. Recently he likes to ask if i love him, when i say i do, he will also tell me that he loves me too. And trust me this melt my heart straightaway, the way he says is is so sweet and innocent. Of course like any other kids, he will misbehave at time, but so far nothing really major that we need to be concern about at the moment.Kids will still be kids, my only hope is that he can grows up healthily and be a useful person.

Sean with Melbourne Kids
Today myself and Jerry woke up very earlier because we are planning to spend say 20mins in Melbourne Kids with Sean. What is Melbourne Kids? Yes is a new child care center new our house. We have change Sean from his previous ABC Learning Center to Melbourne Kids and today is the first day for him.
Of course we try to prepare him by telling him earlier that he will be going to a new school, where some of his friends from ABC are already there and there will be more toys to play with. It does help a little because he did show some enthusiasm of going to the new school. As we enter the school this morning, he was still quite alright till when we started talking to a teacher which she thenlead us to a room for the kids to assemble before going into their individual room, the reality hit hard on him. He realise everything is not going to be the sam anymore. He is going to be in a new environment with unfamiliar faces, he started to cry. We try to coax him with the toy car which is his favourite, but he just didnt want to play with any of them and keeps on crying. Till a kind Teacher, actually not a teacher but an assistant and cook in the childcare which is also Michelle's (the principal's mum) tries to coax him, by holding his hand showing him around the school, talking to him then he stops crying, of course me and Jerry did not follow, because if we did i think Sean will still be crying. I think she did a great job, we stayed at the foyer for another 5-10mins to see peep if everything is ok, but apparently Sean is not crying anymore.
Hopefully everything went on well for Sean and adapt well in this new school. I am prepare for few days of crying in the morning, because I know he is a person who needs warm up.Once he knows the people and environment he will be fine. But this really depends on how well the teachers in school can help the kids in adapting into new environment.
I really hope i made a right decision he changing his school, because the main reason why we choose to stay back at the area where we use to live is because at first we didnt want to change Sean's school as we think too many changes may not be good for him. But because the current ABC school in undergoing alot of changes in terms of staff and services, so we hope this new school will be better. I don't like the idea where constantly relievers are taking care of my kid which they are just here to work rather than building a relationship with my son. Most better teachers are also leaving, the new principal don't seems to be very friendly of course i do understand not everybody is born to be friendly or cheerful but since she choose to work in a childcare i think she ought to.
This new school of course at one look everything seems better taking into consideration that it is new, all the facilities still in very nice and new condition. But most importantly i hope Sean can get to learn more things there, as for this school they only group the kids in the same age together, so according to the Principal they will be engaging more activities which is within their age group. They have a qualify kinder teacher there, so i suppose more learning will be done rather than more playing like in ABC. It is definetely much more spacious. I probably will go home earlier today and see how Sean perform on his first day. I know i have been lazy since the day i knew i am pregnant till now, more i promise more updates will come soon.
